2 arrested — drug warrant executed
On February 1, 2017 officers with the Drug Enforcement Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at an address on Franklin Street.
During the search officers located;
- 2.21 grams of Fentanyl powder,
- 5.41 grams of heroin,
- 7 percocet pills, and;
- 1 gram of marijuana
The total estimated street value of the drugs seized is $3,556. As a result of this investigation, 29-year-old Cody Cuthbertson, of Franklin Street, and 24-year-old Jessica Bolan, of Douglas Street, were arrested.
Cody Cuthbertson has been charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance and 2 counts of breach of probation.
Jessica Bolan has been charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance. Cody Cuthbertson was held for bail court on February 2nd, 2016 and Jessica Bolan will appear in court on March 6th, 2017.
