Vehicle runs red light and collides with another at Gloucester and Cathcart (3 photos)

Police said injuries were minor and charges were laid

A two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Cathcart Street and Gloucester Street at 6:52 p.m. this evening.

Sergeant Monto of Sault Ste. Marie Police Services said the incident occurred after a vehicle going Westbound on Cathcart Street went through a red light and collided with a vehicle going southbound on Gloucester Street.

Monto said injuries were minor and that no one was taken to the hospital.

Monto said charges were laid in the incident.

Sault Ste. Marie Police Services, Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services, and paramedics attended the scene.
