Two suspects each face multiple charges after Sault Ste. Marie police patrol services responded to a report of a break-and-enter in progress, a news release said.

Around 7 p.m. on Sept. 27 police received a report of an incident in the 0-100 block of La Chaumiere Place. Upon arrival, officers checked the victim’s home and found no one inside, the release said. Officers spoke with the victim and learned people armed with knives and a baseball bat, one of whom was known to the victim, forcibly entered their home.
