VIDEO: $225 worth of candy, chips stolen from Circle K

Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are asking for the public's assistance in identifying suspect involved in a recent theft.

In a release issued today, Crime Stoppers says that on April 17 at around 7:16 p.m., a male and female suspect - each carrying bags - entered the Circle K at 1230 Wellington Street East. The suspects allegedly went to the candy aisle where they started filling the bags and their pockets with chips and candy bars valued at approximately $225. The suspects then walked out of the store without paying for the items.

This incident was caught on video surveillance.
