VIDEO: $5K in power tools reported stolen from construction company

Incident occurred at Amik Construction on March 17

Police are looking for information regarding a break and enter that occurred on March 17 during which approximately $5,000 in power tools were reported stolen.

The incident took place at Amik Construction located in Batchewana First Nation.

Full text of a news release issued today by Crime Stoppers follows:

Crime Stoppers and the Batchewana Police Service are requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of break, enter, and theft.

On Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at approximately 10 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the property of Amik Construction located at 103 Metig St., Batchewana First Nation. The suspect entered vehicles and cut the lock off a utility trailer on the property, removing an assortment of Dewalt power tools.

The approximate value of all items is $5,000.
