VIDEO: Police looking for suspect after retail theft

The incident was caught on video surveillance

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie police are looking to identify a suspect after he allegedly stole products from a Trunk Road hardware store.

On Nov. 20, at around 12:30 p.m., a male entered Tool Town where police say he took a new $80 coat off the rack and put it over his own coat. He then allegedly stole a $50 portable heater and left the store without paying.

Video surveillance shows the incident playing out. Anyone with information that would identify the suspect or anyone with any leads, should reach out to police as they could be eligible for a cash reward.
