On Aug. 30, 2016 at approximately 8:30 p.m., city police attended in the area of Second line west for a report of disturbance. Upon arrival officers found a male yelling, threatening and disturbing persons in the immediate area. As a result Ryan Young, age 23, was arrested for causing a disturbance by yelling and threatening to cause damage to a person's vehicle.
On Aug. 30, 2016 at approximately 10:50 p.m., city police attended in the down town area for a report of a possible impaired driver. Officers were able to locate a male sitting in his vehicle in a down town parking lot exhibiting obvious signs of impairment. As a result Jamie Daigle, age 40, was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood.
