On December 15, 2015 city police responded to a disturbance at a local rooming house. A female age 59 was allegedly smoking in a non-smoking common area. When approached by the property manager it is alleged that the female attempted to punch the property manager. Police attended and arrested the accused for assault. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on January 18, 2016 at 9 a.m.
On December 15, 2015 city police attended a residence in the area of Hamilton Avenue. Information revealed that there was a 24-year-old male present and there was an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to attend court. A check of the accused also revealed a bench warrant for failing to attend court X 2, mischief and assault. The accused was arrested and will appear in bail court on December 16, 2015 at 10 a.m.
