29 year old Darryl McMillan of 101 Chapple Avenue #217 was arrested on a warrant for failing to attend for fingerprints. He was released on a previous occasion and was to attend for fingerprints on January 17th and failed to do so. He will be appearing in court on March 17th.
Sometime over night unknown persons entered onto a property in the 500 block of Case Road and slashed the tires on 5 vehicles. The investigation is ongoing.
28 year old Jayme Bellerose of 482 Charles Street was arrested on a warrant and will be appearing in bail courttomorrow. It is alleged that on December 20th the accused was on a recognizance to keep the peace that contained a condition to be in his residence between midnight and 6:00 a.m. . Investigation revealed that he was not in his residence between those two times. It is further alleged that he failed to notify the police of a change of address despite a condition requiring him to do so. He is charged with two counts of breach of recognizance.
Police received a report of the attempted theft of a snow machine in the 600 block of Douglas Street. Suspects removed the ignition from the machine but were unable to get it started.
A break and enter was reported to a utility trailer in the 300 block of Laurier Avenue. Several tools and a compressor were reported stolen. The items were found abandoned a short distance away and returned to the owner.

On February 11, 2014, the accused Kelsey Leva, age 19 of Elmwood Avenue, was found in possession of two prohibited weapons that had been imported from Singapore to the accused’s address in Sault Ste. Marie. The accused was arrested for importing a prohibited weapon X 2 and unauthorized possession of a weapon X 2. The accused will appear in court on March 17, 2014, at 9 a.m.
