On February 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., detectives from the Sault Ste Marie Police arrested and charged a 57 year old male with numerous sexual charges relating to three young female victims. The accused stands charged with sexual assault X 3, Sexual Exploitation X 2 and Sexual Interference X 3. He will be appearing in Bail Court on February 26, 2015.
On February 25, 2015 officers from the Crime suppression Unit arrested 19-year-old Denver Hansen of Fifth Avenue for possession of stolen property over $5,000. It is alleged that the accused attended a local pawn shop on February 11th and attempted to pawn a stolen Hurst Extrication Cutter that was valued at $15,000. The accused will appear in court on the 30th of March.

On the 24th of February, city police attended at Fresco European Grill on Albert Street West for a break and enter. The business was broken into sometime overnight. Five 40 ounce bottles of alcohol were taken including vodka, rye, gin, scotch and wine.
Last evening a 15 hp Ariens snow blower was taken from an address in the 1500 block of Trunk Road.
