An inmate at the ATRC was arrested today by City Police for assaulting a jail guard on the 21st of June. The inmate was also on two Probation orders. He was charged with one count of assault and two counts of failing to keep the peace. He will be appearing in Bail Court on July 2.
On June 30, 2015 City Police investigated a domestic related incident in the west end of the City. The investigation revealed that on June 25, 2015 an accused male age 39 allegedly assaulted his wife. Further on June 30, 2015 it is alleged that the accused damaged personal property and furniture owned by the victim. Police arrested the accused for assault and mischief. The accused will appear in WASH court on July 1, 2015 (weekend and statutory holiday court).
