Arrests/Charged Persons:
Yesterday at approximately 3:30pm, 37 year old Cory Wasyliniuk of 345 St. Georges Ave. was arrested and charged with one count of breach of recognizance. It is alleged that last evening, Mr. Wasyliniuk communicated with victim. Mr. Wasyliniuk is currently bound by a recognizance that states he cannot have any communication with this person as a result of a previous incident. Mr. Wasyliniuk was subsequently arrested and will appear in bail court today.

22 year old James Bolan Jr, of 84 McNabb Street was arrested at approximately 1:55 am and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking as well as 2 counts of breach of probation. Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service were on general patrol in the downtown area and observed the accused riding his bicycle the wrong way on Gore Street. The accused was stopped by police and further investigation revealed that he was in possession of a small amount of a substance believed to be cocaine as well as a digital scale, a small bottle that contained a number of pills, several syringes and a almost $600 cash. At the time of the alleged offence Mr. Bolan was found to be on two separate probation orders each with a condition that he keep the peace and be of good behavior. Mr. Bolan will be appearing in bail court today.

47 year old Frank Caicco of 37 Raymond Street was arrested by police at approximately 3 pm yesterday. Mr. Caicco was observed by an off duty officer walking on Second Line near Korah Road. At this time the officer knew that Mr. Caicco was on strict bail conditions. Those conditions state that Mr. Caicco cannot be out of his residence unless he is in the presence of his surety. As a result Mr. Caicco was arrested and charged with one count of breach of recognizance. He will appear in bail court today.
Break and Enters/Other Property Crimes:
On July 24th a break and enter was reported to a residence in the block of Case Road. A laptop and various pieces of jewelry were reported stolen.

A garage was entered in the 100 block of Blucher Street and a bicycle was reported stolen.

A break and enter was reported to a residence in the 100 block of Albert Street East. Unknown persons entered the residence by pushing a window air conditioner out of the window frame. It is unknown what was taken at this time.
