There were three break and enters reported yesterday. The first was in the 100 block of Eastern Ave. The second was in the 100 block of Albert Street West. Police are unable to release additional information at this time.

The last break-in was to a residence in the 600 block of Lennox Avenue. Entry was gained by forcing a bathroom window. Thieves stole electronic equipment and jewellery.

At about 6:00 a.m. the residents at 108 Bainbridge Street were awakened by the smell of smoke. The home owners left the house to find their carport was on fire. City fire and police crews responded. There were no injuries although the home did suffer some fire damage.

Early this morning, at 3:00, a 1995 red Eagle Talon was stolen from the Pine Plaza. The vehicle had been left running in the parking lot. It was recovered later this morning on Albert Street West.
