On March 24, 2015, city police responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Sackville Road. On arrival it was discovered a female had been assaulted by a former boyfriend. The man had grabbed and choked the victim with both hands around her neck. It was also discovered the man had attended her residence on March 20 and 21, 2015. On both occasions the female was assaulted by being choked and slapped in the mouth and by being punched in the face several times. The man was bound by two separate probation orders regarding previous domestic incidents with the same female. He is charged with three counts of assault and 15 separate breaches of probation. He will be appearing in bail court on March 25, 2015 at 10 a.m. to answer to the allegations.
