Police attended a domestic disturbance on Wellington St. at approximately 10 a.m. this morning.

Police attended a domestic disturbance on Wellington St. at approximately 10 a.m. this morning.  As a result a 41 year old female and a 46 year old female are in custody remanded to bail court tomorrow charged with breaching several conditions regarding communicating with each other and attending each other’s residence.

A 29 year old male is also in custody remanded to bail court tomorrow charged with breaching several conditions regarding communicating with a female victim from a previous domestic.  These charges are as a result from a complaint to police yesterday from an incident on Willow Avenue.

A theft of change from a vehicle was reported on Cartier St. from overnight.

Another vehicle was entered on Cartier St. overnight and video obtained from the homeowner is being investigated.

Vehicles were entered in the 500 block of McNabb St. overnight, unknown what was missing.

An unlocked vehicle was entered on Pentagon Avenue overnight and purse stolen.  Contents were found in a neighbours’ yard, missing are two gold wedding bands.

A theft of a satellite radio from a vehicle was reported from the 700 block of Wellington St. West from overnight.

A theft of sunglasses and electronics from a vehicle was reported from the 800 block of Peoples Road from overnight.

All of the property theft victims failed to lock their vehicles and remove valuables.

Just before 1 p.m. on the 25th of March, a resident reported a break and enter in the 100 block of Willow Avenue. Items taken include a PS3 system, games, movies and an Ipad.

Shortly after 5 p.m. it is alleged 49-year-old Russell Barton of Borron Avenue attempted to leave the Metro Store in the Churchill Plaza with a quantity of unpaid steaks. He was apprehended by store security and turned over to police. He has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and will appear in court on April 28.

On the 25th of March at 3 p.m., police responded to a report of a break and enter in progress in the 600 block of Farwell Terrace. As police arrived in the area the male was observed leaving a second break and enter in the 100 block of Elliott Road. As the male was arrested, he ran from the officer and was taken into custody a short distance away by other officers who had arrived in the area. Upon his arrest and search, the accused had in his possession 5 jewellery boxes, Canadian Currency, and a Samsung Tablet taken from the Break and Enter from Elliott Road. 23-year-old Nicolas Fronzi of No Fixed Address has been charged with Break and Enter with Intent, Break and Enter and Commit the Indictable offence of Theft under $5000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Escape Lawful Custody, and 4 Breaches of Probation in relation to two orders to Keep the Peace and Be Good. He will appear in bail court on the 26th of March. 

On the evening of March 25, city police attended at Sears on Bay Street for a complaint of a shoplifter. It is alleged that 30-year-old Lindsay Perrault of Wellington Street East stole women’s clothing with an estimated value of $196.92. The accused was apprehended by store security and turned over to police. The accused has been charged with Theft Under $5000 and will appear in court on April 28, 2014. 

Shortly after 10 p.m. on the 25th of March, police located 31-year-old Luc Dale of Turner Avenue. He was wanted on a warrant for Failing to Re-Attend Court and two counts of Breach of Probation. He was arrested and will appear in bail court on March 26, 2014.
