On March 29, 2016 a male age 19 allegedly concealed electronic equipment in a backpack and left the Walmart store without making any attempt to pay for the goods. A loss prevention officer apprehended the male and the goods valued in excess of $900 were recovered. City police attended and continued the arrest. Kenneth Bradley Hunt was charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on May 2, 2016 at 9 a.m.
On March 30, 2016 city police attended at the OLG Casino on Bay Street regarding a theft. The investigation revealed a male allegedly stole a purse from a 72-year-old victim and attempted to leave the Casino. The accused was apprehended by security and civilian patrons. Police arrested Randy Robert Arthur Ingram age 23 for theft under $5,000. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on May 2, 2016 at 9 a.m.
