Afternoon news An office was reported broken into in the 100 block of Old Garden River Road sometime between 11:30 p.m. on the 14th of May and 7:30 a.m. on the 15th of May.

An office was reported broken into in the 100 block of Old Garden River Road sometime between 11:30 p.m. on the 14th of May and 7:30 a.m. on the 15th of May.  A computer tower and monitor were stolen along with a printer and two surveillance boxes.

A vehicle window was smashed in the 100 block of Norden Crescent between the 10th and 11th of May.  It appears a beer bottle was thrown causing the damage.

Morning news

A 56 year old male was arrested by City Police officers on May 14th for breaching a condition of a recognizance which he was put on in February 2013. It is alleged he communicated with the female victim who was known to him, while being on conditions not to communicate with her. He will be appearing in Bail Court later today.

33 year old Tessa Landry of Dartmouth Nova Scotia was charged by City Police on May 14 with theft under $5000.00. It is alleged she stole a pair of running shoes and a wrench socket set from Sears on May 13. She was already in custody at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre on charges laid by the OPP. She will be appearing in Bail Court as well.

23 year old Devin Mullins of 322 Farwell Terrace and 34 year old Marlene St. Germain of 361 Second Ave. were both arrested on May 14 on Probation and Parole warrants for breaching conditions of failing to report to their respective probation officers as required by their probation. Both of them will be appearing in Provincial Court on June 17.
