Male charged with mischief
On May 16, 2017 officers from the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 14-year-old male in relation to mischief
It is alleged that on May 16, 2017, the accused punched multiple holes in the walls of his residence, causing approximately $200 in damage.
He was arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000. He will appear in court on June 27, 2017.
Female charged with assault
On May 16, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 21-year-old female as a result of a domestic violence incident.
It is alleged that the accused engaged in a verbal argument with her common-law husband. When the argument escalated, the accused lunged at the victim and punched him in the face. The accused was later arrested and charged with one count of assault. She will appear in court on June 21, 2017.
