Evening news A break and enter was reported this morning to a residence in the 100 block of Brookfield Ave. Overnight, suspects broke a window at the rear of the residence to gain entry.

A break and enter was reported this morning to a residence in the 100 block of Brookfield Ave.  Overnight, suspects broke a window at the rear of the residence to gain entry. Once inside the thieves rummaged through the residence, gained access to the garage area and stole a red Yamaha Kodiak 400 4 wheeler.

A break and enter was reported this morning to a garage in the 100 block of Summit Ave.  Forced entry was made to the man door of the garage on the property.  Three specialized mountain bikes valued at $1500 were reported stolen.  

Thefts:

A bicycle was reported stolen overnight from an address on Woodward Ave. The bicycle is described as being made by CONA and blue in colour.

Thefts from vehicles were reported overnight in the area of Upton Rd, The Drive and Forest Ave.  A number of unlocked vehicles were entered; money and CDs were reported stolen.  

Morning news

19 year old Rene Butorac-Doucette of Clearview Dr. was arrested by City Police Officers for theft under $5000.00 on November 5th. It is alleged Mr.Butorac-Doucette was in Wal-Mart on Great Northern Road and attempted to leave the store without paying for 2 Playstation games and a pair of earphones. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on December 9th.

21 year old Christian Patterson of Panoramic Dr. attended to the City Police station on November 5th  at approximately 9:45 pm to turn himself in. He was aware he was wanted on an outstanding warrant issued by Probation and Parole for failing to appear in court. He will be appearing in Bail Court  later today
