On September 2, 2015 at 5:30 am a 41 year old female turned herself for domestic related Breach of Probation. The female was wanted for breaching her order by communicating with her ex-spouse. She will appear in court on September 2nd.

On September 2, 2015 at 5:30 am a 41 year old female turned herself for domestic related Breach of Probation. The female was wanted for breaching her order by communicating with her ex-spouse. She will appear in court on September 2nd.

On September 2, 2015 at 11:45 am Patrol Officers arrested and charged a 61 year old male with domestic related Breach of Probation and two counts of Mischief. It is alleged he damaged his ex-wife’s vehicle by making it inoperable. He will appear in court on September 3rd, 2015.

Sometime between August 28 in the afternoon and the morning hours of September 1, a red Toro lawnmower was taken from a carport on Chlebus Street.

On September 1 it is alleged a 22-year-old male attended to his ex-girlfriend’s residence and asked her not to testify against him in an upcoming domestic related court case. He was also on conditions to not be around her and not to communicate with her. On September 2 the accused attended to the city police station and turned himself in. He was subsequently charged with attempt to obstruct justice and two counts of breaching a court ordered recognizance. He will be appearing in bail court September 2.

A woman from Saskatchewan had her purse stolen from a local restaurant located on Great Northern Road last evening. The victim and her husband had finished eating and left the establishment leaving her purse behind. Once they were out in the parking lot the woman realized she had left her purse behind, but in the meantime, another customer in the restaurant noticed the vacated purse and left with the purse prior to him finishing his meal. The culprit was captured on video and the city police are continuing their investigation into this theft.

A theft of a brown Trek Mountain Bike from McRae Street was reported to city police last evening.
