Male Charged with three Counts of Breach of Probation

A 23-year old male will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested just after midnight. City Police were called to a downtown residence in regards to 2 persons having a verbal argument. When officers queried the accused they found that the male was on probation with terms to stay away from the residence he had attended and not to molest harass or annoy the female at the residence, who was an ex-girlfriend. The male has been charged with 3 counts of breach of probation.

Youth Arrested on Outstanding Warrant

A 14-year old youth was arrested yesterday morning on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear for fingerprints. The youth will appear in court on September 20th.

Break and Enters

Yesterday City Police received 2 reports of break and enters. Thieves attempted to cut a lock off of a shed in the 100 block of Turner Avenue but nothing was taken. A home in the 100 block of Railroad Avenue was entered but nothing was taken.

Bear Reports

Yesterday afternoon City Police received 2 reports of a bear in the bush area around Anna Drive and also around Manitou Drive.
