SAULT STE MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On June 4, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 23-year-old female as a result of a domestic violence incident.
It is alleged that just after 5 a.m. on June 4, the accused engaged in a verbal argument with her boyfriend. The accused punched the victim in the side of the head multiple times and bit him on the chest.
The accused then took a phone that belonged to the victim and threw it causing the screen to break.
Police were contacted and the accused was taken into custody. The accused has been charged with one count of assault and one count of mischief. She will appear in bail court today.
