Woman faces drug trafficking charges

One person has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking after police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Wellington Street West last night. 

The accused was arrested after officers determined they were a suspended driver. A search of the vehicle found the accused to be in possession of 8.45 grams of a substance believed to be fentanyl, approximately 10.56 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine, five tablets of a substance believed to be oxycodone and $340 of Canadian currency. 

Sabrina Cloutier, 45, is charged with:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x2
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • Failure to Comply with Undertaking
  • Driving While Under Suspension – Under the Highway Traffic Act

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 28, 2022.
