Woman wanted on outstanding warrant found with fentanyl: police

A woman wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court was located in the 200 block of Queen Street East and arrested Friday morning.

At the time of her arrest, 29-year-old Alexandra Bright was found to be in possession of 7.66 grams of suspected fentanyl and other drug paraphernalia. The estimated value of seized narcotics is $3,975, says a news release from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.

Bright is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 27 and stands charged with:
    •    Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
    •    Breach of probation – failing to keep the peace and be of good behaviour
    •    Failing to attend court
