Peace Restaurant is looking to grow our team. We are located at 250 Queen Street East, across from the GFL Memorial Gardens.
Our team aims to build an environment that values our staff, teamwork, customer service, and great food.
Peace is currently looking for Line Cooks & Prep Cooks to join us.
We are looking for:
- Some experience as a line/prep cook or equivalent
- Be highly organized and able to multitask
- Open/flexible availability (including afternoons, evenings, and weekends)
- Able to move up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Basic safe handling knife skills
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Follows a given recipe and quality standard and prepares various food items using different methods and kitchen equipment such as ovens, broilers, fryers, and grills.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef
- Has a valid Food Handler’s Certificate (preferred).
