We are Alpha Kappa Chi, a local sorority based in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan! One of our four philanthropies is the Diane Peppler Resource Center, which is also located here in the Soo. Diane Peppler is an organization dedicated to serving domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. This year's Teeter-Totter-A-Thon is dedicating all of our raised money to DPRC so they can keep helping victims here in the Upper Peninsula.
From Diane Peppler's website: The Diane Peppler Resource Center provides a safe, secure, and supportive environment for survivors of domestic violence and their families. Survivors are given the opportunity to find their inner strength, while gaining an understanding of domestic abuse, have their questions answered, and explore their options.
