Lest we forget.

Last week, our IB students at Ashwood Glen School had the honour of hearing from Tim and Hillary Speed from Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, who shared the significance of Remembrance Day — and the responsibility we all hold to honour those who sacrificed so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.
Ashwood Glen student ambassadors proudly represented Ashwood Glen at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s Remembrance Day ceremony, joining veterans and active servicemen and women dedicated to protecting peace and freedom.
Students witnessed the historic Lancaster take off and land—one of only two left in the world, right here in Hamilton, Canada.
As an IB World School, Ashwood Glen is part of a global education movement founded after World War II to foster international understanding and collaboration.
Our IB program emphasizes global citizenship, inspiring students to connect deeply with the values of empathy, peace, and unity that were born from history’s lessons.
Through this, we continue to honour the legacy of those who served and commit to building a brighter, more compassionate world. 🌎
