Celebrating love, cherishing special moments in the midst of COVID-19 (18 photos)

Window visits, thoughtful kids, and car parades offer a glimmer of hope during COVID-19 pandemic

The province of Ontario is going on month two of COVID-19 restrictions, which has consisted of physical distancing measures and a shutdown of all non-essential businesses.

Since measures officially went into effect on March 23, Saultites have been grappling with a new reality.

Beyond just getting through everyday life, homeschooling our kids, trying to get grocceries without coming into contact with strangers, attempting to maintain some kind of normalcy in these trying times, important milestones have come and gone, and people have been forced to celebrate in unconventional ways.

Saultites have found special ways to connect with each other and express love and gratitude for friends and family on birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries.

Throughout it all SooToday continues to receive photos and stories depicting priceless moments between families and friends, proving that even in the midst of a global pandemic, love and hope prevail.
