Coleman, Mary Eliza

It was one year ago today, May 5 2021, that our Mom was reunited with our Dad. We were left with heavy hearts but were fortunate to have many memories to hold close to our hearts. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of the St. Gregory's Catholic Women's League for 50 years. She spent many years volunteering for many organizations including St. Theresa School, Brownies, Girl Guides, Boy Scouts, Rovers, Davey Home and the Canadian Cancer Society. There wasn't a day where the kitchen table wasn't surrounded by family and friends enjoying her homemade baking and conversations. Her true joy was in helping people whether it was by cooking, baking, knitting babysitting, visiting or just spending hours on the phone to someone that needed that connection.
She always found the good in every person and her heart and door were always open. There is truly nothing more that we could ask for in a MOM. You may have known her as Mary, Mrs. Coleman, Mrs. C., Grandma, Auntie or Tootsie. To us, she was Mom, the little lady with the biggest heart. She will always be in our hearts.
