In memory of my dear dad, Harold Nelson McGrayne Sr., who passed away September 30, 2005.
Eleven years have come and gone,
Since I last saw you dad.
And every day I thank the Lord,
For the great dad that I had.
You taught me much,
And at the time, I put it off till when
The day would come and I would long
to hear your voice again.
Your love for mom was storybook,
A love so rare and true.
For live for mom is what you did,
And she did the same for you.
Now mom is gone, I miss her so,
Our family has lost its glue.
But I can rest and be at peace,
For she is now with you.
