My life changed in so many ways, the day I met this wonderful woman.
She seemed to make an impact on lives like no other, her gruff voice, hardy laugh, sense of humor and a heart open to anyone she crossed paths with. She was the type of person who told you her truth, her loyalty to her family and friends was like no other and always had your interest at heart. Joan was the most "Genuine" person I met! she once told me.. ** some people will like me, some won’t and that's OK Bern. It’s not that I don’t care whether or not other people do like me, it's just I'm not going to let that get in the way of doing anything I dam well want!. ( with a stern look....and then the wink with a big smile)** lol she was a keeper! This lady was our neighbor, our friend, my camping buddy as well as a "mother figure". April 3rd 2007-15 years and I still miss you like it was yesterday. Love: Bern & Al.
