Would you like your child to explore stories and activities designed to put them on a path toward lifelong reading and learning?

The James L. McIntyre Centennial Library at 50 East St. is offering an autumn session of Preschool Storytime on Wednesday mornings from 10 to 11 a.m.

The program starts on Sept 13 and continues until Nov. 1.

"All children will have opportunities to engage in activities that focus on pre-reading, numeracy, and socialization," the library said in a news release.

Registration begins Aug. 23 at 9 a.m. Visit the library’s website to register: https://ssmpl.ca/kids/kids-programming/

The program is open to children 30 to 48 months of age. Space is limited.

(Note: Parents and caregivers must remain in the library building throughout the duration of the program, the library says.)

You can call the Children's Desk at 705-759-5241 for assistance and information.
