This coming Tuesday Dec. 13, 2016, there will be a book launch party and whisky tasting at Odeno's Pub at Sault College (Formerly known as the Outback). Join John Clement, the Wandering Whisky Whisperer, for a book reading, and book signing for the launch of his new book: Musings of the Wandering Whisky Whisperer

"I want to welcome readers to the world of whispering whisky and enlightenment," said John Clement. "This will be a unique opportunity to sit with the author, hear a reading from the book, and pick up a copy and get it signed for Christmas."

Clement is also offering to guide attendees through a whispering whisky session at the bar, but notes that it is a family friendly event.

“John Clement’s new book, Musings of the Wandering Whisky Whisperer is a fun-filled look at the joys of whisky through the anecdotes of an aficionado. The perfect whisky cocktail, it combines a base of knowledge, sweetened with personal experiences and spiced with a dash of humour. Easy reading for the beach or the fireside.“ Davin de Kergommeaux Author of the award winning book, Canadian Whisky: The Portable Expert

John Clement, is an award-winning professor, advanced level toastmaster, world traveler, and lifelong learner. He took on the Wandering Whisky Whisperer persona while living in Scotland and after years of researching, tasting, and experiencing whiskies from around the world. Clement also offers whisky food pairings and whispering whisky master classes.

"Whispering whisky is tasting whisky in a mindful way," said Clement. "The book helps people develop a deep connection with whisky that allows us to share not only in its flavours, but to experience it in all its levels, allowing it to share some of life's secrets."

The event runs from 6 - 8 p.m. on Dec. 13, and there will be free parking in the J wing South Parking lot at Sault College for the book launch.

You can purchase a copy of the book on Amazon.
