Celebrate the spooky season with pre-Halloween trick or treating

Families are encouraged to dress in costume and enjoy a traditional trick-or-treat, filling their bags with goodies at stations across campus

A community trick-or-treat event will be held at Algoma University’s Sault Ste. Marie campus on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. 

“Families are encouraged to dress in costume and enjoy a traditional trick-or-treat, filling their bags with goodies at stations across campus,” the university said in a media release.

Participants are encouraged to donate food items to the AUSU Food Pantry or to the Children of Shingwuak Alumni Association. 

Also on Wednesday, stop by 143 Churchill Ave., in the west end off Peoples Road, to experience the Carter Haunted House up close from 6 to 8 p.m.

Admission is by donation, in support of the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society. Donations can include food, toys, cash, towels, blankets, or pillows.
