Are you ready to feel those sweet summer Northern Vibes?

It’s that time of year again folks! Time to combine bands, DJs, art installations, food trucks, summertime and a weekend spent camping in beautiful Northern Ontario.

The second annual three-day long Northern Vibe Festival being held in Ophir, ON (about a 45 minute drive East of Sault Ste. Marie) on the weekend of August 12-14 is only weeks away and we want to make sure you’ll be there!

Northern Vibe is an end of summer music, art and community festival being held outdoors on the outskirts of the Sault.

Two stages are set with impressive rosters of local and out-of-town talent featuring hometown favourites like the Boothill Crooners, Tidal Records Battle of the Bands 2016 winners K.I.C.K, the impressive 14-piece brass behemoth My Son The Hurricane, 2015 NOMFA winner’s Frank Deresti and the Lake Effect, renowned guitarist Scott Huckabay, and more.

With local and out-of-town DJs set to groove on the River’s Edge stage all day and night, and a mix of rock, funk, folk and blues for the Forest Stage sponsored by BodyStream, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.

Grill’Ems food truck and Big Daddy’s Burgers will also be set up to offer a tasty accompaniment to an unforgettable three-day long end of summer bash that is sure to be one party that you won’t want to miss!

Make sure to get there on Friday to not miss the incredible fireworks display presented by PhatBoy Fireworks SSM to kick off one amazing weekend!

Grab your buddies and pack up your coolers to experience a great send off to summer.

Tickets are $90 per person which includes a three-day Camping and Concert pass.

This 19+ event is being sponsored in part by Planetary Pride and tickets can be purchased there (372 Queen St E, Sault Ste. Marie, (705) 254-3926) or online.

Full list of performers, activities and more information can also be found online at Northern Vibe’s website.
