Come for the art, stay for the island at 5th annual Harvest of Artists

St.  Joseph Island’s Harvest of Artists is inviting art lovers and fans of St. Joe's Island to its 5^th annual outdoor fine art and craft sale in Richards Landing this Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

"It’s a great opportunity to support local arts – all in one location, and pick up a gift for a loved one, or for yourself!" show organizers said in a release.

They said this year will feature an incredible group of local artists featuring prints, drawings, paintings, photography, hand made jewelry and textiles, ceramics, woodworking and more.

The show is held at the Centennial Grounds in Richards Landing, featuring an open green space with artists spread out on the concert grounds offering the best of their work for viewing and purchase.

This year’s artists and studios include Gwendlyn Goulet, Artisan Jewellery, Zoe Sapphire Handmades, Whiskey Bay, Donna Schell, Mary Pine, Bev Hamel, Bob Hamel, The Pink Gypsy Handmade Boutique, Sherie Gladu, Line and Stipple, BMcK Kreations Designer Handbags, Watercolours by Sheila, Robertson Rustic/Fran Robertson, Cozzy Bear Creations and Odo Schmid.

"Make the drive down to Richards Landing, take in the show, grab a meal at one of the Island’s great restaurants and hit the beach at the WI Park or check out a freighter passing through at Sailor’s Encampment," show organizers said. "Top off your summer with a visit to the Island!"
