Award-winning Canadian country star Gord Bamford is returning to stages across Eastern Canada this fall on his Canadian Dirt Tour Part 2 and he'll be making a stop in Sault Ste. Marie.

The second leg of the Canadian Dirt Tour is an expansion of Bamford’s already widely successful significant run of dates and will include a stop in the Sault at the Machine Shop on Nov. 8, according to Strut Entertainment.

Joining Bamford for a series of performances is emerging Canadian country singer-songwriter and military veteran, Dallas Alexander.

The tour follows the release of Bamford’s 11th studio album, Fire It Up, released in April 2023 via Anthem Records.

The album remains true to the country sound that has helped define his incredible career and includes the blazing title track “Fire It Up”. Also included on the album, is the Fall 2023 focus track, 'Canadian Dirt,' a triumphant anthem about celebrating Canadian pride.

Australian-born and Alberta-raised, Bamford is one of the most decorated and awarded artists in Canadian country music history, with over 100 million streams and 5 billion audience impressions at radio globally.

Over the past decade, he has built a loyal fan base and has been the recipient of 26 Canadian Country Music Association Awards (CCMA) including Album of the Year, Single of the Year and Male Artist of the Year wins, along with receiving multiple JUNO Award nominations.

Beyond his musical accomplishments, Bamford's generosity has left a huge mark on those around him. His small-town tour raised nearly $400,000 for local community service groups, fostering a spirit of giving back.

Through the Gord Bamford Foundation, he has raised a $5.4 million for Canadian children and youth, touching the lives of over 700,000 children and communities. Additionally, Bamford's commitment to the industry's growth is evident through his  $200,000 donation to MusiCounts and CARAS.

Most recently, Bamford secured a nomination for the 2023 CCMA Award in the "Musical Collaboration of the Year" category, recognizing his exceptional work on the previously released single “I Ain't Drunk,” featuring acclaimed country star Terri Clark. The collaboration found its place on Gord's album Diamonds In A Whiskey Glass (Deluxe Diamond Edition).
