Cyclists take on tricky course at Crimson Ridge (10 photos)

Sault Cycling Club’s Crimson Cross Cyclocross event brought racers together at Crimson Ridge Golf Course on Sunday

Local cycling enthusiasts put the pedal to the metal on Sunday as the Sault Cycling Club welcomed back the Crimson Cross Cyclocross races.

Hosted at the Crimson Ridge Golf Course, racers of all ages and skill levels put their abilities to the test as they faced a tricky 2.5-kilometre course filled with lots of twists, turns, and bumps.

The rain just held off as participants raced to have the most laps completed in a predetermined time frame.

Jan Roubal, the owner of Velorution, completed the race in the fastest time and placed first in the A-Race category.

SooToday will have more on Jan Roubal tomorrow.
