Fire and ice: Northern Community Centre hosting BBQ, open skate this weekend

Saultites are being invited to the Northern Community Centre Saturday for a skate and a BBQ.

From 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., people will be able to check out the new NHL-sized ice rinks, enjoy free food from M&M Meats and enter to win a $5,000 prize at the event thrown by the Northern Credit Union and the City of Sault Ste. Marie.

Entry is free with the donation of money, non-perishable food or personal hygiene products, all of which will support the Soup Kitchen Community Centre.
