Four-time CCMA award winner returns home to the Sault

Sault Ste. Marie’s Shane Chisholm is scheduled to return home for a performance on Friday, March 4 at the Grand Gardens located at 68 Dennis Street.

Doors open for this full evening dinner/show experience at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 7 p.m.

Chisholm will take the stage at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $25 each and may be purchased by calling 705-946-1104.

Chisholm is expected to perform selections from his 2012 release No One Came and 2009’s Hitchhiking Buddha.

His December 2015 single If Jesus Was a Canadian debuted at No. 52 on iTunes’ comedy chart.

Chisholm now calls Claresholm, Alberta home and was voted the province’s very first Male Artist of the Year by the Alberta Country Music Association.

The Korah Collegiate graduate is a four-time Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) award winner and was nominated as the CCMA Roots Artist or Group of the Year five years in a row from 2009 through 2013.

Expanding on his music knowledge, Chisholm also designs his own instruments from repurposed materials, including the the Stanley Cup Bass, the Corn Broom Guitar, and the Gas Tank Bass.
