GALLERY: Harvest Fest unites hundreds on the countryside

Hosted in Jocelyn Township, the Saturday afternoon festival included a wide variety of harvest-themed activities, food, and vendors

Jocelyn Township kicked off the Labour Day long weekend with a bang on this sunny Saturday as hundreds of St. Joseph Island residents enjoyed this year’s Harvest Fest.

The event featured all sorts of activities and entertainment, including live music, vendors, antique tractors and cars, face painting, children’s games, wagon rides, log cutting, fire trucks, as well as ponies and other animals.

Ice cream, homemade pies, and fresh corn were among some of the festival’s tasty must-haves.

Running from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. today, admission to Harvest Fest was by donation.
