Music lovers looking to get out this summer are invited to the Northern Vibe Festival.
Located in Poplar Dale - one hour east of the Sault - this three-day outdoor festival (Aug. 23-25) features art and music on two separate stages.
Whether floating in the river, soaking up the sun on the beach, sitting by the fire surrounded by djembe drums, or dancing under the stars, lights and lazers, festival goers will find themselves grooving irresistibly to a mix of drum and bass, house, uk garage, electroswing, reggae, jungle, funk, and more.
Tickets are $130 per person and can be purchased online at NorthernVibeFestival.com.
Tickets include onsite camping for all three days and full entry to all stages and performances on the festival grounds.

For three days a community of musicians, artists, and performers come together and collaborate to create something very special just 45 minutes east of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.
The result of these collaborations is the Northern Vibe Festival.
For three days (Aug. 23-25) in a beautiful valley in Poplar Dale, Ont. (one hour outside of the Sault) is transformed with art and music featured on two separate stages.
The River Stage is located on the bank of the Thessalon river and features a solid lineup of local and national DJs on a huge sound system with massive bass and an audio/visual light show programmed by dedicated VJs.

This year the River Stage will include DJ Sets by RMS (Barrie), Elijah (Toronto), angelazura (SSM), Holly Housecat (Toronto) , Shazami Rami (Toronto), Szeto (Toronto), Bobby Popoff (Oakville), DANAFTERDARK (Toronto), FLUMMOXX (SSM), Hippie Business (SSM), Fraktl (Toronto), Tremors (Toronto), Knerv (GTA),, Melty (GTA), Vessel (Toronto), Thom Foolery (Toronto), manSkirt (SSM), Shrugby (Wawa), Jordan Freeman (Sudbury), Kharis (Barrie), Hi Def (Toronto), VEZPAX (Barrie), MC ELE (Toronto), MC A2 (Toronto), MC Danger D (Toronto).
The Forest Stage is situated in a beautiful valley smack dab in the middle of the boreal forest with gorgeous sunsets and amazing stars that follow.
The Forest Stage will showcase a top notch lineup of local and out of town acts. Along with a humongous fire, and best of the best sound by Crank, the talent to be found on this stage is nothing short of magical.
This year the Forest Stage will include performances by Hellrager, Don't tell Sarah, A Dire Setback, Mike Haggith, Golden Scoundrels, Wyld Stallyns, Kman & The 45’s, Brian Trembley, and Sault favorites Handsome Sandwich.
In addition to the River and Forest stages, the festival will also feature art installations throughout the festival grounds, vendors, and street magic performances by illusionist Ryan McFarling!
