The 17th Annual Gathering at the Rapids Pow Wow brought dozens of people from all across the region inside the George Leach Centre this Saturday

The George Leach Centre was packed Saturday afternoon as hundreds of locals attended the 17th Annual Gathering at the Rapids Pow Wow: Celebrating Life Long Learning.

Bringing in participants from all across the region, the pow wow featured traditional drumming, singing, and competition dancing.

Indigenous artisans, craftsmen, and traders were also in attendance to display and sell their work.

For anyone still looking to attend the weekend-long event, Grand Entries will take place tonight at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday at noon.

A feast will also be held this evening at 5 p.m.
