On Dec. 7, the Reel Film Forum will host a screening of Misery in the the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre’s Ranger Theatre.
Based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel of the same name, Misery was directed by Rob Reiner, and stars James Caan and Kathy Bates who earned an Oscar for her performance in the 1990 thriller.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with the film screening beginning at 8 p.m.
Tickets are limited and can be purchased for $15 (plus fees) online.
“We were thrilled to host a sold-out screening of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre in October,” said Josh Ingram of The Reel Film Forum in a news release.
“We even surprised the audience with a trailer for Misery before the film. There’s something truly special about bringing these classics back to the big screen and watching them together. We’re incredibly thankful for the community’s interest in our quirky screenings so far, and we hope people continue to join us for a reel good time.”
