Feel the beat at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library on Friday, Sept. 28 as we celebrate Culture Days 2018!

This year Culture Days celebrates musical performance. Workshops and performances will take place at three downtown locations:

  1. the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library
  2. the Ermatinger Clergue National Historical Site
  3. the Art Gallery of Algoma

Opening Ceremonies will take place at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library at 10 a.m.

  • Jewels of the Oasis Belly Dancers
  • Elite Dance Force Performances
  • Karaoke
  • Drum Fit  (Ermatinger Clergue National Historical Site)
  • MacLeod Highland Dance Studio
  • Women who Drum / Djembe Drums
  • Medicine Walk with the Indian Friendship Centre along the shore of the St. Mary’s River (Art Gallery & Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site)
  • Jingle Dress Dancers & Drumming (Performances at the Art Gallery & Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site)
  • Craft Tables
  • Teen Tech Workshops hosted in the DGTL Creator space at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library
  • Roolz Cotton Candy Sales
  • Free Popcorn courtesy of Community Living Algoma from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Free Pizza from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. (while quantities last)
