Pups do the doggy paddle at YMCA pool (13 photos)

Lots of furry tails were excitedly wagging today as dog owners brought their pups to the YMCA for a swim.

From chihuahuas and terriers to retrievers and labradors, an assortment of dogs splashed around the pool and happily played with one another.

Some were a little more hesitant about getting in the water than others, but every pup got at least one quick dip into the pool.

The YMCA hosted the Doggy Dip from 1 to 2 p.m. for small dogs and 2 to 3 p.m. for large dogs. Admission was a $10 donation to the Strong Communities Campaign.

Attendees were also entered into a raffle for the chance to win a goodie basket for their furry friend.
