Sault families celebrate Canada’s birthday at the Pavilion

The Roberta Bondar Pavilion is loaded with Canada Day-themed games, live entertainment, and refreshments prior to this evening’s fireworks show

A sea of red and white has taken over the Roberta Bondar Pavilion this afternoon as celebrations for the 156th Canada Day are well underway downtown.

Inside and outside the big tent, children are enjoying a wide variety of activities like balloon animals, face painting, and carnival games.

A lineup of musical entertainment and magic shows are scheduled every hour throughout the afternoon and into this evening.

Several food vendors are also on-site to provide visitors with a tasty lineup of treats, refreshments, and other goodies.

Glow sticks will be sold at the marina at 9 p.m. prior to a safe fireworks display which begins at dusk.
