SUPERIOR HEIGHTS
*************************
Superior Heights will be hosting its annual fall talent show, Amped Up, this month. The theme is Hallows Eve and guests are encouraged to get in the spirit by dressing up in their best Halloween garb. The concert begins at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, promising a night full of excitement and entertainment.

This year’s focus will be on the spooktacular performances students have prepared, and the evening will feature a variety of solos, duets, and band performances that are sure to leave the audience at the edge of their seats.

Food and drinks, including punch, coffee, and Halloween candy, will be available as well. Entry is $5 or a donation to the music department. Proceeds will go towards buying new equipment for the school rock band, Steel Rocks, and supporting the arts leadership fund at Superior Heights.

As is tradition, this event is an opportunity for senior secondary students who are interested in music and the arts to take on a leadership role. This year Darius Nisbett-McRae and Ashton Sommers are the two activity leads.

“This event is the perfect opportunity for new and older students to express themselves, show off their talent and perform live. It is incredibly inspiring to see the talent we have here at Superior Heights. We’re all very excited to see the performances come together and make October 30th a night to remember,” says Darius Nisbett-McRae, one of the event organizers.

Don’t miss this chance to be a part of a night full of amazing musical performances that will captivate your heart and ignite your spirit. Join us as talented students take the stage, showcasing their creativity and passion in a celebration of music and community. Bring your friends and family, dress up in your favourite Halloween costumes, and enjoy a festive atmosphere full of laughter, excitement, and the joy of live entertainment!
