On Apr. 22, the sixth installment of the Festival of Beer is back and ready to rock.

The tasting event returns to the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. With over 80 beer varieties to sample from over 20 different breweries.

Following the tasting Juno nominated indie rockers The Wooden Sky will perform when doors reopen at 9 p.m. One of a kind beer from the tasting will be available for purchase.

Northern favourites Outspoken, Northern Superior and Stack will all be in attendance representing the local craft movement.

Great food provided by Pino’s, Bay Meats Jerky, The Pastry Shoppe and Charger Foods will delight your taste buds.

Tasting is $35, evening event is $20 and full event access is $50. Tasting and full event pass include a Festival of Beer glass, entry into the event, and sample tokens. Tickets are available now at Dish Espresso Bar, Case’s Music, The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre and online at loplops.com.

This event is a great treat for beer lovers of every type and promises a day of fun, friends and froth.
