Seth Bernard and Grammy winner Madcat Ruth at upcoming Legion concert

This very special concert is on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. - doors open at 7 p.m. The performance is co-sponsored by RCL Branch 374 and Jim Sundberg’s On Stage 4 Kids Organization. Please come out and support music on the island, your community and the RCL Branch 374 in Richards Landing.

There will be full bar service. The artists will be available at the break for a meet and great. Purchase your tickets early for what will be an amazing night of music. Tickets are on sale now at the Legion, Kents Corners and Gardiners Corner (formerly Ambeaults) for just $15 ($20 at the door).

Prepare yourself for an incredible night of blues, roots and folk music when the Seth Bernard Trio hits the stage. Seth Bernard is the founder of Earthwork Music Collective and winner of Best Rock/Pop Album of the Year at the Michigan Jammy Awards, Michigan’s version of the Grammy Awards. Seth is one of the top singer/songwriters in the Midwest and is founder and host of the annual Harvest Gathering Music Festival in Lake City, Michigan. The Festival, held for the last 15 years, features over 105 bands from all over the world.

Seth will be joined by world class percussionist Dan Rickabus, co-founder of one of the top indie bands in Michigan, The Crane Wives, and who also acts as studio producer for a host of other bands. To round out the trio, Seth is bringing long-time mentor and harmonica virtuoso Peter Madcat Ruth. Madcat is a multi-instrumentalist performing and touring with some of the best musicians in the world, including jazz pianist Dave Brubeck.
